Benkis Photography is the work of Omaha photographers Mike and Amy Benkis, creating bold, dramatic imagery rooted in fine art. Our work ranges from wildlife and landscape photography to conceptual, fashion-inspired, and luxury portraiture.
We approach each photograph with an emphasis on light, atmosphere, storytelling, and intentional design. In addition to creating fine-art prints and commissioned portrait work, we offer photography workshops and one-on-one mentoring for photographers looking to strengthen both their technical skills and creative vision.

Meet the Artists
Benkis Photography is the creative partnership of Mike and Amy Benkis. Their different artistic backgrounds and perspectives come together in a shared approach built around bold imagery, intentional lighting, atmosphere, and storytelling.
Mike's work is rooted strongly in wildlife, landscape photography, lighting, and photographic education. Amy brings a fine-art background and a distinctive creative perspective to conceptual and fashion work as a photographer, stylist, and creative director.
Together, they create work that moves between the natural world and carefully constructed portraiture while maintaining a recognizable visual identity.
